Tips for Dating Safely

One meeting per second1 happens on The Meet Group’s apps. Here is what we ask MeetMe users to pledge to help keep users safe. This pledge will be available on all apps in early 2020.

Meet Safely

Always meet in a public place if choosing to meet in person. Make sure someone you trust knows where you will be and when. Always arrange your own transportation. Avoid drugs and alcohol. If you get an unsafe vibe, trust your gut.

Don’t Share Personal Info

Never share personal information, such as your social security number, home address, or details about your daily routine.

Don’t Send Money

Never send money, even if the person claims to be in an emergency. If another member asks you for money, report it to us immediately.
